Standing in the heart of the Pioneer Valley, the MassMutual Center is the newest and most diverse function space in Western Mass. The floor- to- ceiling windows make an excellent backdrop for weddings. Boston Culinary, their on- site caterer, can customize menus and accommodations to fit any size wedding.

All under one roof, the MassMutual Center offers an elegant ballroom, five fully- functional meeting rooms, a 40,000 sq.ft. exhibit space, plus a totally renovated 6,677- seat arena. The MassMutual Center provides their guests a glittering new venue option, helping to spotlight any event.

Commonwealth Museum

The Commonwealth Museum is a Massachusetts history museum located in the Archives Building on Columbia Point.

The Patriot Room is a versatile space with full-length windows overlooking The JFK Library and Boston Harbor. This space is capable of meeting your guest’s diverse needs. With a charming balcony this room is a wonderful setting for any size wedding and pre/post wedding parties! Included with this and other indoor space is the added bonus of free chair and table rental and set up. Their exclusive booking system guarantees that you will have the facility to yourself. A conference room is available to smaller meetings or breakout sessions.

The Commonwealth Museum Event and Conference Center is one of only a handful of waterfront properties in Boston. Their seaside grounds are the ideal location for a tented clambake, cocktail reception, rehearsal dinner, corporate family outing, or delightful banquet dinner. The perfect location for your outdoor event, the Grounds can host small intimate parties and large events alike. There are no sound ordinances at night!

Rent both the outdoor and indoor facility, including the lobby, access to the Commonwealth Museum, the Patriot Room and the Museum Grounds for your wedding. The total building capacity for an indoor reception is 400.

A new exhibit now displays rare historical treasures from the vaults of the Massachusetts Archives. The design includes state of the art technology, interactive displays, and a setting that evokes the atmosphere of early Massachusetts. Their vessels are United States Coast Guard certified with an experienced Captain and crew. They are equipped with a PA system, iPod compatible sound system with Bose speakers, bar, and restroom on board for your convenience. They arrange private charters for groups up to 100.
