Beach weddings are abundant in the sunshine state.   With great weather year round and scenic beaches you can not go wrong.  Florida has   a vast amount of beaches for your wedding day.  Their are also many award winning state parks within Florida to consider.  Florida was awarded with the National Recreation Parks Associations Gold Medal Award for the “Nations Best State Park Service”.  National parks, in Florida, provide breath taking scenery that will offer your wedding day another unique opportunity.  Your Florida wedding photographer will have a field day with all the photographic possibilities.  The Everglades National Park and the Florida Keys are two of the most popular landmarks that make for interesting photo locations.  You could even consider Sea World or Disneyland as your wedding destination, which will enhance your wedding experience.  They will also provide your guests awesome places to visit before and after your wedding day.

 

Naples, Florida

An affluent community located in South West Florida.  The beaches that lay across the Gulf of Mexico stretches for more than 10 miles.  These beaches are known for their cleanliness and pristine white sand.  The perfect location for your beach wedding.  Florida wedding photographers adore this location not only for their beauty but also for their privacy.  The beaches are mostly private and have fewer “tourists” wandering the beaches.  This means fewer gawkers during your wedding and a lot less random people in your wedding photos.  In fact, most venues will clear the beaches completely for your private romantic wedding.  Your wedding guests will have ample places to stay.  They also love the shopping district Tin City located downtown.  Other wedding photo locations around Naples include several major land reserves.  The corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary has 11,000 acres of landscape and wildlife.  The sanctuary has a 2.5 mile boardwalk that winds through the sanctuary.

 

Wedding photography in Miami, Fl

Miami is located in South East, Florida along the Atlantic Coast.  Miami is a well known city for it’s culture, entertainment, the arts and more.  Forbes magazine ranked Miami “America’s Cleanest City” for its abundant green spaces, clean streets and more.

The wedding season for Miami is typically November through May.  Summer months are hot and humid!  Then their is the whole hurricane and tropical monsoon climate.  Not a perfect time for having a wedding.  So plan accordingly when thinking of your wedding date.

The number and diversity of locations for your wedding is astounding.  From the beaches to historic venues you’ll have many choices.  The worlds largest art exhibition, know as the “Olympics of Art”, is located at the Art Basel Miami Beach.  This is a wedding photographers dream location.  You’ll also find over 80 parks and gardens throughout the city.  Ask your Florida wedding photographer for their suggestions.  Another photography hot spot is the Miami Art District.  It’s a fun, bright, colorful community landscaped with historic buildings.

 

Sanibel Island, Florida is a wedding photographers dream come true.

Pristine beaches for miles, with clear blue skies, provide a romantic location for your wedding day.  Sanibel Island is located in the Gulf coast of Florida.  It is just offshore of Fort Myers.  Around half of the island is made up of wildlife refugees.

There a few secluded resorts that offer wedding ceremony and receptions.  They will most likely have a section of beach that is private to that venue.  This makes for a romantic and private wedding ceremony.  Your Florida wedding photographer will love you for selecting Sanibel Island as your wedding destination.  The Island is beautiful, pristine and a photographic masterpiece.

Orlando, Florida for your wedding

If a beach wedding is not for your, then consider you may want to consider Orlando.  Located in the central heart of Florida.  This city is best known for it’s tourist attractions.  Most notably Walt Disney World Resort.  Orlando is nicknamed “The City Beautiful”.  The historic community of “Old Orlando” resides in downtown along Church Street.  A great spot for some urban style photographs.  As a whole, Orlando is mostly wetlands that consist of many lakes and swamps.

Unlike some of the cities in southern Florida, Orlando has a more moderate temperature year round.  This is provides for wedding dates for the whole year.  Also, Orlando is less likely to be affected by hurricanes and tropical monsoons.  This is ideal if you prefer to have a summer wedding.

Ideas for a Jacksonville, FL wedding

You’ll find Jacksonville, Florida in the Northeast section of the state.  It is centered on the banks of St. Johns River just south of Georgia.  The Jacksonville Beaches community is located along the Atlantic coast.

A great destination wedding location that provides historic venues as well as modern.  Downtown Jacksonville will provide your wedding photographer with an urban landscape for your photo shoot.  If you prefer something more traditional, you will find 80,000 acres of parks located throughout the city.  The city has natural beauty from the St. Johns River and Atlantic Ocean.  Some of the parks have even received international recognition.  A popular photo spot is the Tree Hill Nature Center.  Located Just 5 minutes from downtown Jacksonville.  This location boasts a wildlife area, butterfly center and 50 acres of nature trails that is surrounded by hilltops and wetland areas.  Your wedding photographer will enjoy the mixed hardwood forest as a backdrop for your photographs.

All in all, Florida is a spectacular location for a wedding.  Their are many more cities to consider.  The locations mentioned are some of the more popular hot spots for weddings.
